Position Overview:

Position Type: Full-time

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Team Lead to oversee our Business Development Representatives. This role involves leading and developing a team, driving business growth, and executing strategic sales initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess a strong track record in business development, team management, and strategic planning, with a focus on expanding our market presence in the medical and dental billing sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Leadership:

  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and management to a team of Business Development Representatives, fostering a high-performance culture.

  • Business Development:

  • Supervise and support the team in identifying and pursuing new business opportunities through effective networking and market research.

  • Client Relationship Management:

  • Cultivate and maintain robust relationships with key clients, ensuring their needs are met with tailored billing solutions.

  • Strategic Sales Planning:

  • Collaborate with senior management to formulate and implement strategic sales plans that align with organizational growth objectives.

  • Market Research:

  • Oversee market analysis efforts to identify industry trends, competitive dynamics, and potential opportunities for business expansion.

  • Proposal Management:

  • Guide the team in crafting and presenting impactful proposals and presentations to prospective clients.

  • Interdepartmental Collaboration:

  • Coordinate with marketing and operations teams to ensure cohesive efforts in achieving sales goals and enhancing client satisfaction.

  • Contract Negotiation:

  • Lead negotiations and finalize contracts with clients to secure long-term business relationships.

  • Performance Monitoring:

  • Track team performance metrics, providing regular updates and strategic recommendations based on sales data and market insights.

Qualifications:
  • Education:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

  • Experience:

  • Minimum of 5 years in business development or sales, including at least 2 years in a leadership or team management capacity, preferably within the medical or dental billing industry.

Skills:
  • Proven leadership and team management capabilities.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Strong negotiation and presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
