Position Overview
Position Type: Full-time
We are looking for a results-driven Account Manager to join our growing team. The Account Manager will serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring client satisfaction, managing relationships, and addressing any issues related to billing services. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills and a deep understanding of medical and dental billing processes. This role is pivotal in fostering long-term relationships and driving client success.
Key Responsibilities
Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main liaison between the company and assigned clients, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
Account Oversight: Manage client billing accounts, ensuring accurate and timely invoicing, claims submission, and follow-up on outstanding payments.
Client Support: Provide ongoing support to clients by addressing inquiries, resolving concerns, and ensuring the smooth execution of billing services.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly review client account performance, identifying trends, resolving issues, and suggesting improvements to optimize billing outcomes.
Contract Management: Assist in managing contracts, renewals, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure alignment with client expectations.
Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including billing, operations, and sales, to ensure a seamless client experience.
Reporting: Prepare and deliver regular account performance reports to clients, highlighting key insights and recommending strategies for improvement.
Client Retention and Growth: Identify opportunities to expand relationships with existing clients and upsell additional services where appropriate.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Management, or a related field preferred.
Experience: At least 3 years of experience in account management or client services, preferably in the healthcare or medical billing sector.
Knowledge: Strong understanding of revenue cycle management, medical and dental billing processes, and insurance claims management.
Skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain client relationships.
Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills.
Proficient in client management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to manage multiple client accounts and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
